It’s not easy juggling 3 professional projects/businesses, a team of 10, graduate school (full-time) and still have time for a family, friends and a busy dog sports hobby. But it can be done. Let me tell you a secret… I’m nothing special. In fact, I’m very ordinary. I just have big dreams and I realized that I could do anything I put my mind to.
The list I just mentioned seems ridiculous. What if I told you I do it all while being dyslexic, learning challenged, and a survivor of PTSD and a mild traumatic brain injury? Labels and diagnoses don’t mean anything except to identify the hurdles that we can navigate around or jump over.
So what is my superpower that gets me through? Well, I spend about 30% of my energy on systems that keep me going. “Self-care”, “work-life balance”, “personal wellness” or whatever you want to call it, spending one third of my energy on this scaffold keeps everything else working. And I’m happy to teach you how to build this for yourself and for your life.
